Farm Youth Hero

Hanat Kasula from Manafwa the Farm Youth Hero of Match

This is an initiative of SFYN Uganda aims at motivating young people who dedicate their time to the farm. These people can be farmers, food activists or trainers who work passionately to promote sustainable agriculture. Every month a Farm hero is awarded with a certificate of appreciation and the winner is selected on merit from all parts of the country and they are selected on merit.

On 10th September 2016, the Farm Yoth Heros where awarded by the Buganda Kingdom County Chief locally known as Ssekiboobo on the Food Wise Event. The awarded Heroes are;

1. Luwaga Samson from Buikwe District for January 2016

2. Nalubega Alice from Mukono District for February 2016

3. Hanati Kasula from Manafwa District for March 2016

4. Amule Mansuru from Koboko District for April 2016

5. Mwesigwa Edwin Mayende from Busia District for May 2016

6. Ssenoga Duncan from Buikwe District for June 2016

7. Nsubuga Herdison from Kayunga District for July 2016

8. Migadde Lawrence from Buikwe District for August 2016

9. Kalibala Peter from Wakiso District for September 2016

10. Pajero Yasin form Arua District for October 2016.
