The Vegetable Festival:
This is a one day festival organized to celebrate and show case different local and traditional vegetable varieties with their nutritional values. Different vegetables are explained in details by giving their background, preparation and preservation methods, testing recipes, knowing the cultivation methods, morphological description, cultural back grounds and uses among others. The vegetable festival involves workshops on traditional seeds, Nutritional camp, seed sharing, vegetable prepartion amd tasting, sensory education and education sessions on vegetable growing.
