OUR STRUCSTRUCTURE
International
The Slow Food international headquarters are located in Bra, Italy – the town in Piedmont where the movement was born. It is from here, that the association plans and promotes the development of the network and projects worldwide.
The association is coordinated by an International Council and steered by an Executive Committee. The Executive Committee is the highest institutional governing body, with all appointments held for a four-year term. Carlo Petrini, who founded the movement in the 1980s, is the President of Slow Food.
NATIONAL
Slow Food Uganda has a coordinating office in Mukono town at Josephine house plot 218, Kayunga Road. The Organisation has two Governing Bodies namely, The General Assembly and the Executive Committee.
a) The General Assembly is the legislative body of the Organisation and, as such, the supreme authority.
b) The General Assembly is held annually.
THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY ESTABLISHMENT
Membership of the Organisation is open to properly instituted Network groups of Slow food in Uganda hereafter referred to as the Group/association.. Each affiliated Group/Association assigns 2 (two) members – preferably of their elected Executive Committee – to the General Assembly with voting rights
Members of the outgoing Executive Committee attend the Assembly (including the Assembly for elections) as bona-fide representatives with voting rights
Members of the Senate
Members of the Electoral Committee, but without voting rights.
THE EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE
The Executive committee is the Administrative body of the Organisation which is composed of :

Three Committee members; One should be from an indigenous Group and another should be a Youth Nominated by The Slow Food Youth Network-Uganda Committee. The third may come from the rest of the remaining Groups/Associations.
